The Spring 2026 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Friday, May 8, 2026, at The Center for Rural Development, located at 2292 S. Hwy 27, Suite 300, Somerset, KY 42501.
There will be two ceremonies at different times, and the one you attend depends on your credentials.
If you are participating in the 2 p.m. ceremony. You should arrive at 1 p.m. and report to the check-in table at the front entrance to receive your seating assignment. This ceremony is for graduates enrolled in one of these programs:
- Associate in Arts & Associate in Science
- Business & Professional Services - Business Administration, Computer and Information Technology, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Cybersecurity, Education, Esthetics, Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Education, Logistics and Operations Management, Medical Information Technology, Visual Communications: Multimedia
- Career & Technical Education - Automotive Technology, Aviation Maintenance, CDL – Truck Driving, Computerized Manufacturing and Machining, Construction Technology, Diesel Technology, Digital Printing Technology, Electrical Technology, Engineering and Electronics Technology, Heating and Air Conditioning Technology – HVAC, Industrial Maintenance Technology, KY FAME, Welding Technology
If you are participating in the 6 p.m. ceremony. You should arrive at 5 p.m. and report to the check-in table at the front entrance to receive your seating assignment. This ceremony is for graduates enrolled in one of these programs:
- Health Sciences - Associate Degree Nursing, EMS-Paramedic (Advanced EMT, EMT), Fire/Rescue Science, Health & Human Services, Health Science Technology, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technician (Phlebotomy), Pharmacy Technology (Advanced Pharmacy Technology), Physical Therapist Assistant, Practical Nursing (Nurse Aide), Radiography (CT Certificate, MRI Certificate), Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology
Guests
We are pleased to announce that each graduate participating in the Graduation Ceremony may invite up to 8 guests to share in this special milestone. While tickets are not required, we kindly ask that you limit your party to no more than eight guests to ensure everyone has a seat. Doors will open for guests approximately 1 hour before the start of the ceremony.
Cap & Gown Pick-up
If you did not have your cap/gown delivered to your home, you may pick it up anytime at the Somerset Campus bookstore during normal business hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. EST
- Friday: 8 a.m.-12 p.m. EST
