Financial Aid Disbursement and Refund Schedule
Summer 2026 financial aid is based on the 2025-2026 FAFSA. Awards are calculated and disbursed using the SCC Academic Calendar.
Summer 2026 REFUND DATES
Summer refunds will follow the schedule below. Attendance in each class must be confirmed before disbursement will begin. Financial Aid amounts are subject to change based on attendance in your classes. Classes must be required for your SCC program plan to be aid-eligible.
Refund - the release of residual funds to the student's selected refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc. More information about refunds is available at Refund Choices.

IMPORTANT: Summer Loans are issued in two separate disbursements. The 2nd refund of loans will be the week after your mid-term. First-time loan borrowers will have their loan disbursement delayed 30 days from the start of the semester.
NOTE: Your Bank Mobile Refund Preference will determine when you receive your refund.

Please be aware that if you need to update your address, you must update it with Bank Mobile and with SCC. After you update your address on your student account, please get in touch with the cashier’s office or student billing so we can validate your mailing address with Bank Mobile to ensure any refund checks are mailed to the correct address. You can change your college address through your student self-service. For assistance in changing your address with the college, you can contact Somerset-StudentRecords@kctcs.edu.
