Policy

Somerset Community College (SCC) is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of its students, staff, and visitors. As part of this commitment, SCC will provide and maintain on-site limited access to opioid antagonists at each of the college’s campuses.

The purpose of this policy is to establish guidelines for the administration of opioid antagonists by trained college staff in cases of suspected opioid overdose. The detailed procedures for implementation are outlined in the associated procedure document.
