Policy

SCC fully supports the faculty promotion process and its institutional policy to develop and utilize a procedure for faculty promotion that is fair while ensuring candidates are fully prepared for an increase in rank. This policy directs a faculty-centered selection committee to be the focus for promotion recommendations while defining responsibilities for local participants in the process.
