Policy:

Division Chairs and/or Department Heads are responsible for purchasing retirement gifts for their employees and completing the BA8 form.

Divisions/departments are encouraged to select gifts that are long-lasting and can be engraved.  The retirement gift is intended to be a keepsake for the employee. 

Suggested gifts include but are not limited to:

  • Watches
  • Clocks
  • Crystal or other Glassware Items
  • Figurines

The following guidelines for purchase of retirement gifts are based on the individual’s length of service:
