It is time for Orientation!

Somerset Community College will provide you with essential information for newly enrolled college students. This information will consist of the vast amount of resources that students have available to them while being a student with SCC! The transition to post-secondary education can be intimidating— we are here to help ensure you are prepared for your first day of classes!

Please complete an in-person orientation after meeting with your CARE Advisor and enrolling in classes. The in-person orientation is HIGHLY suggested and will provide you with a great on campus experience! If you cannot make your schedule work for the in-person orientation, we do have a virtual option.

In-Person Orientation

Online Orientation

We recently made changes to our online New Student Orientation; it is now located on your student Blackboard account. You can find this on MyPath. Check out this link to set up your KCTCS User ID and Password. After you do this, click on MyPath, then the Blackboard tile. When completing the New Student Orientation on Blackboard, make sure that you go through each section and complete the form at the end.

**Please note that you need to be enrolled in to classes to complete the online New Student Orientation.
