Somerset LPN to RN

Admits every 3 semesters. The next cohort will be in Fall 2027.

Pre-Admission Conferences

The application deadline for the January 2027 cohort is November 6, 2026.

Attendance at one Pre-Admission Conference is required for admission to the Paramedic program.

An EMT-level entrance exam will be given after the meeting and will cost $5. A tablet or laptop (no Chromebook) is required.

Somerset Campus

Application deadline: April 1, 2026 at 5 p.m. EST

Students must attend a Pre-Admission Conference between July 2025 and April 2026 in order to apply to the program for the 2026-2027 academic year.

All participants must pre-register by noon on the day prior to the conference by emailing corey.moore@kctcs.edu.

Exceptional high school students in their final year of high school are encouraged to apply.

*It is suggested to call prior to conference date to verify that conference dates have not been changed. If the college is closed for inclement weather, the pre-conferences will be cancelled.  If there is inclement weather and the college remains open, please call prior to time of conference to verify that conference will be held.

The Radiography Pre-Admission Conference is available online. Effective January 2027, attendance at an in-person pre-admission conference will be mandatory.

The Surgical Technology Online Pre-Admission Conference is required prior to applicant’s consideration by the Surgical Technology Admissions Committee.

After viewing, submit an application and verification form to the program coordinator, Tammy Day.
