Customized Business and Industry

Workforce Solutions offers customized training programs for Business and Industry for today's most in-demand skill areas. Training can be provided on-site or at one of Somerset Community College's (SCC) five locations.

A Workforce Solution's Project Manager works with company representatives to develop the customized training program and works with local workforce partners to assist with funding for training. 

SCC Workforce Solutions collaborates with other KCTCS community colleges and adjunct faculty to provide the specialized training if local resources are not available. College credit is available for most courses. Examples of the customized training courses we’ve provided include but are not limited to:

Mission Statement

The Office of Workforce Solutions of Somerset Community College will provide short-term training, technical skills, and customized training to business and industry. Adult, community, and continuing education will add to the college's mission by providing proprietary training and lifelong learning opportunities. The Office of Workforce Solutions will actively participate in the development of a vibrant community in the area we serve.
