What is Logistics and Operations Management?

Are you interested in pursuing a career in a constantly growing and evolving industry? Are you interested in pursuing a career that meshes your business know-how with being technologically savvy? If so, then logistics could be the program for you. The Logistics and Operations Management program is designed to teach students about the sourcing, procurement, conversion, and logistics concepts associated with the production and delivery of goods and services. Also included is the planning, execution, and control of the procurement, movement, and stationing of personnel, material, and other resources to achieve the objectives of a campaign, plan, project, or strategy. It may be defined as the “management of inventory in motion and at rest.”
