What is Cybersecurity? 

The Cybersecurity program will prepare students to design, develop and maintain secure computer systems and provide security for the users they service. Students in this program will study cybersecurity as it relates to hardware, software, user and data security. There are no admission requirements for the program. Cybersecurity jobs are in high demand, and the need for more security professionals is not going away in the near future. Cyberattacks are only becoming more common and harmful, and no one is immune. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of information security professionals is projected to grow 33 percent from 2020 to 2030, much faster than the average for all occupations.

What are my career choices?

Employment of information security analysts is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations. Demand for information security analysts is expected to be very high, as these analysts will be needed to create innovative solutions to prevent hackers from stealing critical information or causing problems for computer networks..
