They embodied perseverance and hope. Among the graduates was a student who experienced homelessness last summer and is now actively in recovery, crossing the stage on Friday to mark a powerful milestone, one that brings pride and opens a new path to success. Many graduates pursued education not only to improve their own lives, but also to lead by example for their children, breaking cycles and building brighter futures.

The Spring 2026 class reflected SCC’s wide-reaching impact. Graduates represented multiple Kentucky counties and beyond. One online student drove 21 hours straight from Texas to attend the ceremony, earning an Associate of Arts (with a focus in Psychology) and planning to pursue a career in counseling to help others.
