SCC announces Paramedic or LPN Bridge to RN Program at McCreary Center
Published on Jan 30, 2026
Somerset Community College (SCC) is proud to announce the launch of its Paramedic or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Bridge to Registered Nurse (RN) Program at the McCreary Center, offering an accelerated pathway for healthcare professionals ready to advance their careers.
Designed specifically for LPNs and Paramedics, the Bridge to RN Program enables students to build upon their existing skills and experience, earning their RN degree in just three semesters.
To help prospective students learn more, SCC invites the community to attend an Open House on February 2 at the McCreary Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Tour classrooms and learning spaces
- Meet and talk with instructors
- Get answers to questions about the program, admissions, and career opportunities
For those who are undecided about pursuing a new or advanced career, SCC specialists and subject-matter experts will be available to provide guidance, answer questions, and offer support. The event also provides a chance to network with others who are on similar life and career paths.
Prospective students should note that attendance at an Admission Conference on February 9 is required to be considered as an applicant for the program.
SCC is accepting students now, with an application deadline of March 15.
“This program is an investment in yourself and your future,” said SCC-McCreary Center Administrator Jill Lawson. “If you’re ready to take your healthcare career to the next level, Somerset Community College is here to help you succeed.”
