I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing Education. Additionally, I hold a Master’s Degree in Education in Reading and Writing also from Eastern Kentucky University along with a certification in Middle Grade Social Studies.

After completing my B.S. I moved back home to Bronston & began working as a math coach at Southwestern High. The following year I was hired as a business and marketing teacher at Pulaski County High. While there I was a co-advisor of DECA (association of marketing students). When I completed my Master’s Degree I moved into the position of Read180 instructor for incoming freshman. Since 2010 I have been a transitional reading instructor at Somerset Community College loving every moment.
