Kids Kollege classes and instructors:

The sky is blue and alien blood bubbles!
Instructor: Andrea Bower
Do your eyes deceive you sometimes? Join Andrea in a series of experiments to decide if the sky is really blue? If its blue all the time, why is it dark when its stormy outside or at night? In addition to proving the blue, well perform bunches of experiments to laugh, scratch our heads and ask how did that happen? Well wrap up the week by making alien blood and it bubbles!

Red, white and starry blue
Instructor: Brandy Hatfield
Get ready to celebrate Independence Day with these fun and festive projects in honor of Old Glory! Well make a variety of take-home projects ranging from a real star-spangled banner to fireworks (MINUS the dangerous stuff!), to dazzling windsocks and customized huggies. Then well wrap the week up with a real Hop Skip and BANG!

Instructor: Sean Ayers
Students are taught the basic skills of tennis for eye-hand coordination skills, competitiveness and fun. This class will include rules, mini-tennis fundamentals and shot production. For those with some tennis skills, Sean will use a more intermediate approach to the game.

If you give a kid a mouse
Instructor: Shane Skaggs
What can a kid, a mouse and a monitor accomplish? Youll be amazed! Surf the net for unbelievably fun and neat things for kids. Take home bunches of special projects!

Wild and Wacky Flying Pigs
Instructor: Nicki Lucas
Centered on gravity, kids will work in small groups to design and apply the downward force of gravity to accelerate balls down a series of crazy ramps, gears and levers. Well analyze how each piece of the puzzle influences velocity and momentum of steel balls and contraption pieces. The ultimate goal? The thrilling launch of the helmet-wearing stunt pig!

Fun and Fit
Instructor: TJ Bower
Who knew getting and staying fit could be so much fun? This class is designed to introduce kids to exciting games, stretching techniques and proper nutritional intake to enhance outdoor activity. This course will consist of a variety of age-appropriate games.

In order to maintain quality and enjoyment, Kids Kollege classes will be limited to an average of 15-18 students per class. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis as registration and fee payments are received. You may call to register your child, but you must mail or bring in the registration fee immediately in order to guarantee the registration. The registration is $85 per week. Two or more siblings may attend for $65 each per week.
