SCC held a Transfer Exchange Meeting with four-year colleges and universities
Somerset Community College held a Transfer Exchange Meeting on October 29, with representatives from several of the four-year colleges and universities in the state. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss enhanced ways of partnering together, as well as how SCC and KCTCS students can achieve a seamless transfer to a four-year institution.
Each college and university exchanged information with the faculty and staff of SCC about their transfer initiatives and what SCC can do to build the strongest bridge for their students to successfully transition into these institutions. Various four-year college representatives also talked about their current partnership with SCC and the benefits it has provided.
The colleges and universities that attended the Transfer Exchange Meeting were: Bellarmine University, Berea College, Campbellsville University, Eastern Kentucky University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Lincoln Memorial University, Lindsey Wilson College, Mid-Continent, Midway College, Morehead University, Transylvania University, University of the Cumberlands, University of Kentucky, Union College, Western Kentucky University.
