Manchester Filmmaker Wins Spirit Award at SCC Autumn Shorts Film Festival

Robert Craft, of Manchester, was recently given the Spirit Award for his films Super Fun Sequence Five and By Train at the Somerset Community College Autumn Shorts Film Festival, held on the campus of Somerset Community College (SCC) in Somerset. Other winners from the event include the following:

  • Best in Festival: Winstons Ghost: The Photography of Ryan Gustman, Daniel Spiller Production (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania)
  • Outstanding Mix of Animation and Live Action and Audience Choice (Thursday): Lila, Carlos Lascano (Madrid, Spain)
  • Outstanding Editing: Ladrones de Tiempo, Fran X. Rodriguez (Madrid, Spain)
  • Outstanding Set Design: Sisters, Lea Vidakovic (Jurong, Singapore)
  • Outstanding Originality and Sound Design: Im Human, Razan Haikal (Amman, Jordan)
  • Outstanding Visual Design: Vatula, Shyam Sundar Chatterjee (Mumbai, India)
  • Audience Choice (Friday): My 2014 Neighbor, Go Motion Productions (Pasay City, Philippines)

A selection of films from the festival will be played again at the Somerset Community College International Festival on October 20. The films will be shown all day in the SCC Stoner Little Theatre on the SCC Somerset Campus, located at 808 Monticello Street in Somerset. The annual International Festival is free and open to the public.
