Somerset Community College East End Gallery is pleased to exhibit artwork from local photographer Lorraine Fletcher throughout the month of March in celebration of Womens History Month.

Fletcher is a photographer and has lived in Somerset since 1989. She received her bachelors of fine arts degree from the Atlanta College of Art in 1979. She is most well-known for her digital images that reflect diversity and spontaneity.

I enjoy conventional subject matter, and sometimes I like to incorporate a bit of humor to add an element of surprise, said Fletcher.

Fletcher has exhibited in Cincinnati, Berea, Lexington, Somerset and Atlanta. She is represented by Roomscapes Gallery in Woodstock, Georgia.

The public is invited to a free reception for the Fletcher on March 15 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the East End Gallery, located in Stoner Hall on the SCC Somerset North Campus.
