Important summer school information regarding financial aid
Summer 2011 Financial Aid Applicants
In order to continue eligibility for Federal and/or State aid, you are expected to make Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) toward completion of your program.
Please be aware that summer financial aid funds, including Federal Direct Loans, will not be awarded or disbursed until after you have been evaluated and met the Satisfactory Academic Progress. Failure to meet SAP will result in your ineligibility to receive aid for the summer 2011 term(s).
Please be advised that SAP will not be evaluated for the summer 2011 term(s) until after May 19, 2011. Additional information regarding SAP is available at the Financial Aid Office or can be found online at the KCTCS website http://www.kctcs.edu/Students/Costs_and_Financial_Aid.aspx. You must make payment arrangements with the Business Office, other than Financial Aid. You must also be prepared to purchase your own books and supplies.
