2015-2016 Financial Aid Verification Priority Processing
Students are chosen for verification at random by the Federal Government. These students
are required to provide certain documentation to verify the accuracy of the information
on their FAFSA.
To find out if you're chosen for verification and see what documentation must be submitted, simply visit your Student Self-Service Center To-Do List .
If chosen, in order to be guaranteed* completion of your Financial Aid file and to ensure that you can charge books at the bookstore prior to the start of classes, all verification documentation MUST be in by NO LATER than July 1. Although we will process Financial Aid throughout the year, any student who has not turned in ALL required documentation by this date cannot be guaranteed protection from cancellation and should see the Business Office in order to set up a payment plan to cover their cost of tuition until their aid is processed. Please monitor your KCTCS email account for notification if additional documentation is required.
