Maysville Community and Technical College is hosting a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification training October 8 and 10 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the Maysville Institute of Culinary Arts located at 2 East Third Street in downtown Maysville.
Guests will learn about the most urgent training challenges in the food and service industry, including food borne illnesses and how to prevent them, proper techniques for safe food receiving, food storage, preparation, and storage as well as practical cleaning, sanitation, and pest management procedures.
ServSafe is accredited by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP) and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). It is a recognized training to meet the definition of “accredited Program” in the latest U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Code.
The cost to attend the training is $199 and includes the ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification Exam.
