Description: This program will be presented in the standard two hour required format. The program will be broken down by race, gender, age, and risk. The program HIV/AIDS Professional Education Multi-Disciplinarian Curriculum has been approved by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services as required by KRS 214.610/615 CHFS/DPH series # 0714-1533-M. The first hour is an in-depth look at the most current statistics available. The second hour explains the myths, facts, and fiction behind transmission prevention including the importance of abstinence and monogamy education as prevention from HIV and STD’s.

Description: Maysville Community and Technical College will be offering 12 hours of continuing education for Waste Water licensees. Description: Legal Update 2013 – This is the annual update of recent changes in state and federal laws, the licensing law, and regulations. The class will include areas of the licensing law that are violated repeatedly with tips on how to avoid those violations. New interpretations of old laws will be reviewed. This is a must class for agents who want to keep updated on state and federal laws, the license law, and changes in regulations. KREC approval #13073.

Description: This is a new class that deals with Contracts and Agency issues. These two areas of the law are seeing more lawsuits and real estate commission complaints that ever before. The contracts portion of the class includes material on language, contingencies, personal property, earnest money, short sales, and foreclosures. Understanding the Importance of Proper Duct Design w/ Rob Hamm

Description: Students will be given a completed Manual J load calculation and will investigate the factors affecting proper duct design such as Fan Laws and PSC motors. How to identify deferent duct system types and how to read manufactures blower data sheets to choose a proper blower size. They will learn how to calculate total equivalent length of duct along with friction rate. At completion of instruction students will be able to size ducts properly using a duct calculator set to the proper friction rate with hands on examples.

Description: This Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
