The E Center provides valuable tools to help entrepreneurs make informed business decisions when planning to open a new business, purchase an existing business or expand an established business. The E Center has access to demographic information, market research, industry profiles, sample business plans and a variety of publications covering numerous business topics. The E Center provides clients with access to a network of knowledgeable mentors and coaches with various expertise to insure small business success.
The E Center offers free one-on-one consulting services. All of our management consultants have broadbased skills, significant experience as business owners and/or managers and have a track record of assisting with the growth of successful businesses. The E Center director is qualified to answer questions and address a variety of topics, including:
- Developing a Comprehensive Business Plan
- Analyzing Cash Flow and Financial Projections
- Market Planning and Research
- Managing Human Resource Issues
- Financing Options
Working through the Regional Entrepreneur Center, Maysville Community Technical College will offer extended and specialized classes for development of entrepreneurs. Classes will be structured for students to receive 0.5 credit hours per class while the general public attending these classes will receive CEU’s if requested. This will provide a unique opportunity for students, new entrepreneurs and experienced business owners to interact and form mentoring relationships.
The E Center offers an intensive schedule of affordable training workshops both in the classroom and on-line. These expert-led training workshops are designed to provide new venture and existing business owners with the knowledge required to maintain or expand a profitable business.

Youth entrepreneurship is a strong component of the center’s programming. Programs at the college, high school, middle school, and elementary school levels will be identified and offered in an effort to make our youth more aware of the opportunities that exist for them in entrepreneurism.
