Thailand, the country that encompasses much of the heart of mainland Southeast Asia, has become an increasingly popular cuisine. Although Thai cuisine is predominantly vegetarian and is considered the healthiest cuisine in the world. European powers and colonization of surrounding countries has also left
its mark on the eating habits of the Thai people. Although rice is the focal point of most Thai meals, their geographical location and close culinary ties to mainland China have allowed many regional proteins and other ingredients to enhance their daily diet.
