Maysville Cake & Candy Supply owner Debbie Bray will teach a complete introduction to chocolate candy making and molding techniques in this class for beginner to intermediate candy makers. This will include how to select the proper type of chocolate(s) for your creations, heating, cooling, mixing, coloring, and flavoring techniques. The class will also teach the use of molds for solid, filled, and hollow chocolates; as well as dipping pretzels, crackers, and other treats in chocolate. Class attendees will receive a prepared pamphlet of candy and chocolate recipes and idea starters to take with them. Participants will also get hands on practice and receive a mold to take home.
