Community Education

MCTC provides an array of classes designed to improve your education and workforce skills and simply add pleasure of life. Our target audience is you—individuals encompassing all ages, education levels, professions, and interests.

Our community education schedule offers something for everybody: arts, technology, fitness, vocational training, senior classes, and pre-college youth programs. You are not required to be formally admitted to MCTC to enroll in non-credit continuing education programs.

Participants in community education classes may earn continuing education unit (CEUs). One CEU represents ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education program under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction. A transcript of this work will be permanently filed at MCTC and will be readily available for your reference needs.

For those who need CEUs to maintain licensure or a review course to prepare for a licensure exam, MCTC offers a wide variety of professional continuing education courses that have been approved by licensing boards. We offer classes for insurance agents, plumbers, allied health professionals and many others. Additionally, we provide review courses to prepare you to take a licensing exam, as well as, offering the licensing exams on a regularly scheduled basis.
