A presentation of refrigeration fundamentals and associated components for individuals interested in safe, effective, and efficient maintenance and operation of industrial refrigeration equipment who may also be seeking RETA credentialing. This presentation is the 1st of 2-levels of instruction which prepare individuals for successful completion of RETA’s Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certification exam. Topics covered include: Principles, The Refrigeration Cycle, Prosperities, Compressors, Operation and Maintenance, Lubrication, Condensers and Receivers, and Purging.
Meet your instructor
Donald Lomache has over 25 years of experience in the HVAC business and has been teaching HVAC courses at Kentucky Community and Technical College System for almost 10 years. He is RETA certified and has been certified to teach Ammonia courses through Garden City Ammonia Training.

Refrigeration operators and technicians, refrigeration and maintenance managers, safety, production, engineering, maintenance, security and other personnel wanting to gain a better understanding of ammonia refrigeration.
