This video will take you through the steps that will allow you to look at your campus finances. This is where you can see if you have any outstanding balances on your account, make payments and check your financial aid. From the Maysville Community and Technical College home webpage, select Student Self-service from the menu located at the upper right hand corner. This is done by placing your cursor over the student self-service heading and selecting it by using your mouse. You will then be taken to the KCTCS Campus Solution login menu. You will need to enter your username and password. Your username was given to you by Maysville Community and Technical College when you registered. Move your cursor to the username box and click on the field using your mouse and enter your username. In this example our student is entering jstudent0001 then press the tab key to move to the next field--the password field. Enter your password. This is the same password you used in setting up your KCTCS email account then press enter using your keyboard. You are now taken to your Student Center. In this example we see John’s Student Center. In order to obtain your campus finance information, you need to select self service from the menu located on the left-hand side of your screen, by placing your cursor over the title self-service and selecting it by using your mouse. The menu below Student Service will expand down. Below it you will see Campus Finances. For this demonstration we are going to look at Campus Finance by selecting Campus Finance from the menu on the left-hand side of the screen. This is done by moving your cursor over to the heading Campus Finance and selecting it using your mouse. This will now take you to the Campus Finance home webpage. You can make account inquiries. This is where you can view details about your financial account and Maysville Community and Technical College. View your financial aid allows you to view your financial aid that you are receiving and any scheduled disbursements that are owed to you. You can make a payment. Campus Finances is where you go to accept or decline your financial aid awards.
Let’s take a look at Account Inquiry by placing your cursor over your account summary and selecting it by clicking on it using your mouse. John is now in his specific account information. The first tab is the summary tab. Under this tab you’ll find a listing of all the activity on your account at Maysville Community and Technical College. In this case, John does not owe anything. The second tab is the account activity tab. This is where you can check to make sure all your payments have been posted to your account. You can move to the second tab by moving your cursor to the activity tab located at the top of your screen and selecting it by using your mouse. The third tab is the charges due tab. By selecting this tab you can learn if there are any charges due on your account. In this case, John does not have any charges owed to the college and the message indicates this. The payment tab shows the payments that John has made to his account. If John had a balance due and he needed to make a payment, he would visit the final tab, the make a payment tab and make a payment to his account.
