Oh, come on in. Glad you came back. Just take a seat. Okay so you’ve narrowed it down to a few colleges. Why don’t you just sit back and relax and let me tell you about some of the colleges we will probably visit during the semester.
Here we are at Morehead State University, located in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. Morehead offers over nine, two plus two programs. What does that mean for you? It means two years at Maysville Community and Technical College and two years at Morehead State University. A Morehead State University rep can be found on the Maysville Campus three days a week, and did you know if your EFC on your FAFSA is zero, you can have your transfer application fee waived. Enjoy looking at Morehead State University.
The University of Kentucky, located in Lexington, on 700 acres has over 28,000 students and they offer over 200 programs. UK hosts transfer days on the third Wednesday of every month. When you go you’ll learn about financial aid, scholarship, housing, and also how your credits will transfer to the University of Kentucky. They also offer transfer scholarships to our students. And by the way, I hear they have a great basketball team!
Located in Richmond, Kentucky, in the heart of the Bluegrass State, is Eastern Kentucky University. They have over 16,000 students and you can have a very easy transfer by working with their student transition office. The campus is absolutely gorgeous. They have a wonderful cafeteria there, and they have a great Law Enforcement program. Visit Eastern Kentucky University.
Here we are at Northern Kentucky University, located just seven miles south of Cincinnati. We still are in our wonderful State of Kentucky but close enough to enjoy all the fun things that are in Cincinnati. Northern Kentucky University has over 15,000 students and offers over 70 Bachelor Degree programs. Chase Law School is right on their campus. NKU also boasts that they have to top graduation rate for KCTCS students.
Lindsey Wilson College. They offer a degree in Human Services and also a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Located in Columbia, Kentucky, it’s the southern part of our state, but you can get your degree right here on our campus. Just imagine, get your Bachelor’s Degree or your Master’s Degree without ever leaving Maysville. Lindsey Wilson College offers a rep on our campus three days per week.
Midway College, located between Frankfort and Lexington, is a college that offers programs in an accelerated format. That means you can go there on their campus two nights a week and take a class, or you can do it online. They also offer an excellent education program on the weekend. Friday nights and Saturdays on the Maysville Campus. You can get your Bachelor’s degree without ever leaving Maysville from Midway College. Did you know that Midway College was the first college in the entire United States that serviced orphaned and disadvantaged women? Midway College located in the heart of the Bluegrass.
