How to Login to Blackboard. This video will guide you through the process of logging in to your Blackboard account. Let’s start at the Maysville Community and Technical College homepage. The web address for this page is maysville.kctcs.edu. From this page, use your mouse to select the Blackboard link as shown here. The Blackboard login page is now displayed. This is where you need to enter your KCTCS username and password that was provided to you when you enrolled at the college. Also notice that this page contains important announcements for students, such as times when Blackboard will be unavailable for maintenance, as well as useful hot links that can help you find courses, buy books, and more. To login to Blackboard, we are entering “Student0001” with our keyboard in the username field, and then entering our password in the password field. This is the same user name and password that you use to login to your KCTCS email account. If you have lost or forgotten your password, you may select the Forgot Your Password link with your mouse, and then follow the on screen instructions that appear. Once you have entered both your username and your password, use your mouse to select the Login button. You have successfully logged into your Blackboard account! This webpage displays the courses in which you are enrolled, important announcements, Blackboard tools such as email, and more. To access a course that you are taking, you may select the link for the course from the Course List with your mouse, and you will be taken to the homepage for the course.
