How to Check Your Blackboard Gradebook. You can check the grades for a particular course by using the My Grades tool in Blackboard. Your instructor may place links in the course to the My Grades tool, and keep in mind that it could be named a little differently. Look for a link, which is typically in the left-hand menu, that will allow you to view your grades, and then select this link with your mouse. When you reach the My Grades page for your course, you will see your scores on graded work only. Only you can see your grades; other students cannot see your grades. If you see a comment for a grade, this means your instructor has given you some feedback on the grade. Monitor your progress throughout the course. Check the My Grades page frequently for updated grades and feedback. If you've submitted an assignment or test and don't find a grade when you expect to, contact your instructor. You can use your mouse to click the Icon Legend button if there is an icon or picture on this page you don't understand. To view the details and feedback for a grade, use your mouse to select the details button that corresponds with the grade for a particular assignment. If available, you can review test scores and feedback, by using your mouse to select the hyperlink grade for a particular test. You will then be directed to a page with details about your grade for the test. If you are having trouble finding your grades for a course, look for the My Grades tool in Blackboard, on the home page after you login. Select the My Grades link with your mouse, and you will be directed to a page that lists all your courses. You can then select one of these links to view the grades for a particular course.
