The presidential profile development committee to assist in the search for the next president of Jefferson Community and Technical (JCTC) was formally named April 6 by Lynn Fischer, chair of the JCTC Board of Directors, and Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) President Jay Box.

KY HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS PARTNER TO PROVIDE VIRTUAL TRANSFER FAIR

Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) students who wish to transfer their credits or associate degree to a four-year institution will have the opportunity to connect with those institutions, ask questions and better prepare for their future during a Transfer Madness fair. Transfer Madness will be Thursday, March 26 from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. EST (1 p.m. – 7 p.m. CDT).

WKCTC Named One of Top Three Community Colleges in America by Aspen Institute; Chosen as Finalist-with-Distinction from 1,123 Nationwide for Second Time

The Aspen Institute announced today that West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC) in Paducah, Kentucky is a Finalist-with-Distinction for the 2015 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence. Selected from 1,123 community colleges nationwide, this is the second time WKCTC has been awarded this honor along with $100,000 in Prize funds to support its programs.

NO Tuition Increase For KCTCS In 2015/16

Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) students will not see an increase in tuition for the 2015-16 academic year.  The Board of Regents, during its quarterly board meeting today, revised the 2015-16 tuition rates, which were originally approved in June, to stay equal with the current year’s tuition rates.
