Are you interested in working while you are in college? Do you need assistance with finding a job that will compliment your studies? There are many opportunities available to students looking for work while attending school. We want to assist you in locating the work opportunity that best supports your vocational and educational goals.
The Federal Work Study Program provides funds that are earned through part-time employment to assist students in financing the costs of postsecondary education. Students can work up to 20 hours per week (based on their unmet need and budget) both on-campus and off-campus.
On-campus employment can be anything from working in an office to outside grounds keeping. Student can earn $7.50 per hour in these positions, paid via direct deposit on the 15th and 30th of each month.
Off-campus employment consists of tutoring in reading and math at local elementary schools, as well as various community service positions. Students can earn $7.50 per hour in these positions, paid via direct deposit on the 15th and 30th of each month.
