The Electrical Technology Program focuses on preparing students for entry level electrician positions in industry and the building trades. The study of electrical theory and practical applications of that theory provide the foundation of this program.
The program is reviewed semi-annually by representatives from local commercial and industrial workplace settings for compliance with their needs.• Industrial Electrician Option leads to Associate in Applied Science Degree (AAS GOTS - a minimum of 42 credit hours toward the diploma program +15 restricted general education hours)• Construction Electrician Option leads to Associate in Applied Science Degree (AAS GOTS a minimum of 42 credit hours toward the diploma program +15 restricted general education hours)• Diploma (Options):- Industrial Electrician- Construction Electrician• Certificate (Options):- Electrician Apprentice- Residential Electrician- Electrician Helper
The Electrical Technology Program is designed to meet the training needs of students who plan to work in electrical construction, industrial maintenance, or related fields.
This program admits students in the Fall semester. The following materials must be on file in the Admissions Office:

In addition to tuition, students are responsible for transportation to the various cooperative educationl sites, books, and safety glasses. Any student seeking financial assistance should contact the Financial Aid Office.
