You will log in to a secure personal online portfolio to take Do What You Are®. All you need is an internet connection, a web browser, and less than half an hour. Choose which of two situations is most like you and decide on the career areas that interest you most. After, you’ll receive your personal report with:

  • a graph of your assessment scores
  • an introduction to personality type
  • a description of your personality type
  • your strengths and blind spots
  • your college satisfiers – what to look for in a college
  • your career satisfiers – what to look for in a career
  • your preferred learning style
  • your interpersonal negotiating style
  • a list of potential careers and related majors

Do What You Are® matches your personality type to career fields that studies have shown to be more satisfying and successful. There are hundreds of O*NET profiles to explore in the career database based on your interests or career cluster that include:

  • job description
  • interests (using Holland Codes)
  • related occupations
  • related college majors

  • 5 most important skills, abilities and knowledge areas
  • typical tasks and most common work activities
  • national and state annual and hourly wage information
  • job search by location, company, job title or type
