SCC to Hold Open Auditions for Upcoming Theatre Projects

Somerset Community College Theatre will hold open auditions for the community on Monday, January 28 in Stoner Little Theatre, located on the Somerset North Campus at 808 Monticello Street, Somerset. Sign-ins begin at 7 p.m. and auditions start promptly at 7:30 p.m. Information packets with audition scenes are available in SCC’s Stoner Hall Room 104C.

At the auditions, SCC Theatre director Steve Cleberg will be looking for talent and crew for several upcoming projects.

Cleberg will be looking for a variety of performers for the spring play production, entitled Sketches! Rehearsals for Sketches! will begin in late February with the performance taking place on Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13.

Cleberg will also be looking for cast and crew for the summer film project entitled, A Superhero’s Best Friend. The screenplay, written by former SCC theatre major Emily Singleton, will be shot this summer and have its debut next fall. A variety of talent and crew are needed.

Cleberg will also be looking for talent for a Storybook Theatre performance in March and another episode of the College’s You Tube series, Summerfalls.
