Meet Ron

My role at SCC: I serve as the Director of the SCC Physical Therapist Assistant Program and teach a portion of the program's curriculum. I also serve on a number of committees and am faculty sponsor to the SCC Physical Therapy Student Organization.

How long I've worked here: Since 2004

Why I do what I do: As a physical therapist, I had the opportunity to improve the lives of my patients. As a faculty member, I have the opportunity to affect many more lives through my students and graduates and, therefore, am making a bigger impact upon my community and our state. 

My teaching philosophy: Every one learns differently and, as a member of the faculty, it is my responsibility to help students with different learning styles meet their goals. I will give a 110% effort, but expect the same from my students.

I like our students because: I learn more from them than they could ever learn from me.

A little more about me: I serve as the State Chapter Student Liaison for the Kentucky Physical Therapy Association and recently presented at the Rural Community College Alliance National Conference in New Hampshire.
